Autobahn No Fault warranty

Most tint warranties only cover the film failing on its own: bubbling, peeling, color change. Autobahn's No Fault warranty is different. If the film gets damaged, they put money toward replacing it, and Autobahn has just raised the amounts. The better the film you choose, the more protection comes with it.

Frequently asked questions
How is window film installed?
Your windows are thoroughly cleaned first, so even the smallest dirt is removed. A piece of film is cut to your window's size, the release liner is removed, and an application solution is sprayed onto the glass. The film is carefully placed, squeegeed smooth, and the edges are trimmed for a perfect fit.
Does the tint go on the outside or inside of my car's windows?
The tint goes on the inside. The film is first laid on the outside of the window to cut the right shape, trimmed on a large piece of glass, then installed on the inside of your windows.
What shade is legal for the two front windows and windshield?
In Michigan, film on the front windows and windshield is only permitted on the top 4 inches, and full front coverage is technically legal only with a physician's note. The good news: we offer a clear, high-performance ceramic film that works amazingly well and keeps your glass nearly clear. Anyone tinting beyond the legal limit takes on full responsibility for the risks.
How long does installation take?
Typically 1 to 3 hours depending on the vehicle and the number of windows. All installs are by appointment and require a deposit for scheduling.
Can I wait for my vehicle or should I drop it off?
We prefer a drop-off so we can focus on your vehicle, and we have a waiting room with a TV if you decide to stay. Smaller installs can often be done while you wait; full cars can take hours depending on scheduling.
How long should I keep my windows rolled up after tinting?
Keep the windows up for at least 2 to 4 days. Rolling them down too soon can peel the film. If that happens, we can redo windows at low or no cost depending on the circumstances.
How long does the film take to fully cure?
Cure time is the drying time of the leftover application solution. On a hot summer day the film may cure in a few days; in winter it can take a few weeks. Bubbles, haze or streaks while curing are completely normal and disappear as the solution evaporates. The film performs fully the whole time.
What do I use to safely clean my windows?
Wait a week before cleaning. Then use a soft paper towel with a non-ammonia cleaner: vinegar or citrus Windex, soap and water, or vinegar and water. Avoid Windex with Ammonia-D, blue-colored cleaners and abrasives.
Will you travel to my home to tint my vehicle?
Automotive tint has to be installed in the shop to keep dirt, dust and debris from getting under the film. For homes and businesses, our residential and commercial teams do install on site.

AMAZING! Jake and his crew are outstanding! The back of my home is all windows and faces west. On hot days even without a 5 ton ac unit running full blast and set at 70 degrees, the temp in the house wouldn't drop below 78 degrees! Jake came out, was extremely knowledgeable, and recommended Huper Optik Window Film and now the temp in my home goes up to at most, one degree higher than the temp I set thermostat at. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
