Frequently asked questions
How is window film installed?
Your windows are thoroughly cleaned so even the smallest debris is removed. A custom piece of film is cut to your window's size, an application solution is sprayed onto the glass, and the film is mounted into place.
Does the tint go on the outside or inside of my windows?
Inside. The film is laid on the window, cut to shape, then installed on the interior side of the glass.
What should I expect after installation?
Cure time, the drying of leftover application solution, typically takes 30 to 60 days depending on temperature and season. During that time you may see small bubbles, haze or streaks. That's completely normal and disappears as the solution evaporates, and the film performs fully the entire time.
What do I use to safely clean my windows?
Wait a week after installation. Then clean with a soft cloth and a non-ammonia cleaner. Our favorite: 30% isopropyl alcohol mixed with water and a fine microfiber cloth, like cleaning eyeglasses. No Windex with ammonia and no abrasives.
Will film void my window warranty?
Our solar films carry a lifetime residential warranty against bubbling, peeling and color change (15 years on most commercial installs). For windows with an active manufacturer warranty, we offer an affordable no-risk warranty that covers you for the duration of that warranty, the only product in the industry that does. We always choose film approved for your specific glass.

AMAZING! Jake and his crew are outstanding! The back of my home is all windows and faces west. On hot days even without a 5 ton ac unit running full blast and set at 70 degrees, the temp in the house wouldn't drop below 78 degrees! Jake came out, was extremely knowledgeable, and recommended Huper Optik Window Film and now the temp in my home goes up to at most, one degree higher than the temp I set thermostat at. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
